My "little" man has changed so much over the year. He is about as tall as I am and seems to be continually growing.

I cannot believe that she will be graduating the 8th grade on May 27. Time is just flying by before I know it we will be preparing for highschool graduation. :(
I am so blessed and proud of my two children that God gave to me.

Talley Lynne is officially in the 8th grade and Hunter is officially in the 7th grade. Today is their first day. They were both excited and not excited. A HUGE mix of emotions. They may have had mixed emotions but they both looked very nice. They are growing up so fast. I am so blessed!!!

Today is mine and Barry's 7th anniversary. I am so thankful today that Barry, through everything we have been thru, that he has not given up on us. God has richly blessed us in our everyday life!! I am very thankful for how far God has brought us. Through our ups and downs, heartaches, and mistakes, God has seen fit to keep us together and loving each other. I am very thankful today for the man God has put in my life. I love you baby. Thanks for being my "Outlaw".

Vacation

Well went on a family vacation to Florida. We had a great time. We left here on Sunday afternoon with my parents. Barry drove us to Jacksonville. We then picked my sister and Tanyon up from JAX airport. From there my dad drove us in. Monday morning, the guys were up bright and early off to fish. Us girls, were off to the mall. We were very disappointed to find out the shrimp pocket place was closed. :( I did do a little shopping at the Garnet and Gold shop. Monday evening we went to the Seinyard with Tommy and Sandy. YUMMY!!! The guys fished every day we were there. Thank you Tommy and Sandy for your graciousness and helping to make our trip a good one. I am looking forward to taking another family vacation. We are going to work on a big one to Disney World with all three of us kids, grandchildren, and grandparents. Here are a few pictures.

Happy Birthday to my son Hunter. He turns 12 today. I cannot even believe how fast time flies. I have been so blessed. He is such a treasure, and I am so thankful God sent him my way.

Sorry for taking a week to post pictures of Tal and Hunter. Hunter won his opening game and played quite well...he is batting at .500. Tal did well also. She got hit twice in the batters box, but she didn't get hurt. They ended up losing but she played well. We have a busy schedule with the two of them playing. I hope all is well with everybody!!

Well tomorrow we kick the season off. Talley has to be at her ball field at 9 am and then her game is at 4. Hunter has to be at his opening day around 11:30 and his game is at 1. I have a prayer request for anyone that reads this. Talley and Hunter's grandfather in Philadelphia, right now, is undergoing a quadruple bypass. He has 60% and 90% blockage. He is supposed to be in surgery for about eight hours. Tal and Hunter love their grandfather. Please pray for him and I will keep updates on here.

Yeah it is Friday!! Well, sad news, Hunter didn't make the team; however, he starts association ball next saturday. He was very upset about not making the school team. I am glad he showed some heart. I told him he shouldn't like losing and go out there next time and try again. He said he was. He said he was looking forward to playing anyways. Tal still has today to go through. Barry has a lot of confidence in her making the team. She is absolutely beside herself right now with excitement.

Tal and Hunter

I also wanted to post about Tal and Hunter trying out for their school's softball and baseball team. They both are very excited. Try outs started on Tuesday and will be over for Hunter today and Tal tomorrow. There were about 35-40 boys trying out and Hunter said it would be hard to make the team. JT helped him get some stuff together last night. He was so excited when he got home. JT had him looking like he was a baseball star by the time we left their house. Tal is really confident about the team. They have been throwing and doing things with Barry and each other in the evening. These next couple of days are going to be interesting. Tal does have something else in the works if she doesn't make it. She is going to do a drama competition. SURPRISE SURPRISE SURPRISE!!!!!!!! LOL!!!! I am glad she has a back up plan. She doesn't like to be idle. Hunter on the other hand said if he doesn't make the school team he wants to play for Amelia's rec team. That is comparison to CLL. He really needs this outlet. Please keep them both in your prayers. I would love to see them both make it. They usually don't take sixth graders for the baseball team. Hunter was going out there today and show the coach he could hit left handed and right handed. He told my sister last night he was ampidextrious. LOL...made me chuckle on the inside.

The past couple of Wednesday nights, I have been picking Blayne and Ellie up. We meet Nana at "Chicken fil a" (as Ellie calls it) and then head to the dollar store. I was just looking back at over the year of post. WOW so many things have happened. I had a niece born in Dec of 2007 and a nephew born in March of 2008. God has weeded our "church garden". He is really working. He is bringing members back to our church. He has given me another year with my husband, children, and family. I have so much to be thankful for. It is great to read back on what God has done. Take the time to reflect on just how good God has been!!!!

I am amazed how WE praise God on His timing when it works to our benefit. My cousin Pam, was telling us last night about a mother who lost her son. She chose to look at it that God chose her son. She chooses to look at God's timing as being on time. I am not sure I could look at it that way. We, I, look at God's timing being on time, when it works to my benefit. I really need to work on God's timing is ALWAYS on time in time every time!!!

Rut

Do you ever find yourself falling into a rut? I find myself like that quite a bit. It is really bad to fall into one in one's marriage. I want God to renew the excitement in my heart for my husband. I love him and he is good for me and provides for me and my two. He is a hard worker. He is a faithful man in all he does. He goes to Maryland every other weekend to pick Dallas up. He does his best not to miss and if he does he makes up for it. He really is a good man. He loves me and loves Tal and Hunter. He gets along really well with my family. That is so very important to me. Thank you God for sending him my way and putting us together.
I am also so glad it is Friday. It feels like it has been a very long week. I do believe we are going to celebrate Aubrey's birthday at Bob Evan's. That is where she chose to do celebrate. Isn't that funny?!?!?!

Summer Plans!!

Already making plans for the summer. YEAH!! We are going back to Tallahassee. We leave Monday, June 22. We are going with my mom and dad. Tal and Hunter don't know it yet. They will be so excited. Barry wants to tow the trailer with the motorcycle in it. That means no driving for me. YEAH!! :-) We are hoping things workout that we can meet my sister and her family down there. Her step son Tre will be in Tampa the week before for wrestling and her father in law will be there also. FUN TIMES!!!! I love being with my family. God has really blessed me with great people in my family.

We had a ladies meeting at church last night titled "it's in the bag". My mom's missionary group was in charge. Well today history will be made. Irregardless of how we feel about it, today is still one for the history books. The heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord; the government shall rest upon His shoulders. All we can do as Christians is pray for our leaders.

On a different note. I had a great evening. I went over to my sister in law's house. She fixed some great soup and dip. After dinner, she cut and colored my friend Amber's hair, and then she cut mine. Thanks Janie for opening up your home. Love y'all!! After we got hair done, we headed up to the bowling alley where our men were. No other team showed up for league night, so the guys bowled a few games and just had fun. Shawn is unbelievably good. WOW!!!!

We are back!!

We are back!!! We (Barry, myself, Talley, and Hunter) left Tuesday morning for Florida. We left around 11 am and arrived in Tallahassee around 8:30. The funeral was the next day at 10am. The funeral went off just fine and dad had a part of that and then he did the graveside. The graveside was way more personal. Great job dad. It was very sad for Mrs Owen. They were married for 56 years. I am glad we went. I was proud to show my children and my husband off. We got to go by our house we grew up in. We also made a pit stop at Doke Campbell stadium. I am sure this was the highlight of my husband's trip. Well maybe not, he is a Miami Hurricane fan, not a Seminole fan. We got home last night around midnight. Thanks Barry for taking me and riding along.
I want to mention that I am so glad that my friend Amber has gotten a new mini van. God provided one for them. God is so good.

My friend Amber sent me an email this morning. The email was about a young boy that lived in Kansas, and listened to a gospel radio station outside of Texas. He had to put his calf down and called into the radio station. He said that he asked God why when his calf was so special to him. The young boy proceeded to say that God told him that He gave His only Son and that His only Son was special to Him. The young boy went onto say that He (God) ALWAYS understands. I tried to upload the video but it wouldn't let me. I am so glad to know that when we hurt, God hurts, and when we rejoice, He rejoices with us. I thought it was pretty powerful, I thought I would share it.

TUESDAY

The flu has officially hit my house. Barry has been down with it since Friday night. Today is the first day he has felt somewhat better. He had to take his son back to Maryland on Sunday and that is about it for his out and about. The flu hit my friend Amber on Saturday. She felt puny most of the day and came to the secret sister revealing. By the time she got home she got real sick. She said today she is feeling somewhat better but not 100%. Get the bleach out and open up the windows. Cold or not and get them germs out...LOL.
Please keep praying that our Preacher in Florida will hang on until my dad makes it to see him. My dad loves and respects him greatly. It means a lot to my dad to be able to see him one more time. I am so glad we had him come preach our 20th anniversary at the church. We had some good times in Florida.

God is so good. I cannot thank Him enough for my job. Lay offs were just done and are being done here at HCA. We just had a meeting with our director. He told us our department is ok until at least March. Thank you Lord for keeping me employed and protected. I am so glad He is there making intercession on my behalf with groanings which cannot be heard and prayers we know not what to pray.

Wow where did the year go. I am so thankful for this past year. There are two main reasons why. God sent my nephew, Tanyon Garic Jarboe, to us. He is so precious and a great gift from God!!! Another one is, my brother in law, Chris Jarboe, got saved this summer. We all love being together down here on earth and now we will be together in heaven. God is so good.
We had a great New Year's Eve service at church. Pretty relaxed and laid back. Jackie Avery bragged about "D" killing his first deer and Layne killed his first deer. The mom's were so proud of their boys slowly becoming men. Then, Hunter gets up and preaches for the first time. Talking about a proud mom also. He preached on David and his battle with the lion, bear, and Goliath. He had new battles,and so will we. We are facing a new year with new battles. He also said he is racking his brain wondering what good things God will do for us. He did a phenomenal job. You don't think he is paying attention but he is. He also used his friend Layne to help. Wonder where he learned that from (papa). I am so thankful that I was in my place and God use my son to bless others. I have no doubt my dad, his grandfather, was very proud. Thanks dad for letting Hunter preach. God sure has brought a shy little boy a long ways.
I am looking forward to what God will do this year. He also brought me some very close friends that can never be replaced. Thanks for the special friends and love they give me.

New Year's Eve!!!

Wow getting ready to be out with the old and in with the new. There is something about the new year. Like a fresh start. Let's wipe the slate clean and start fresh. That sounds so good doesn't it. One way to do that is to make sure you start with the Savior. Knowing for sure you are on your way to Heaven! No better way to start the year out! We were going to have a get together at my house but plans change. My brother and his family are out of town, my friends, the Martins, daughter is having f/u surgery on her finger (y'all are in my prayers), and my friends the Rivards just got back from Michigan. My sister is in town and Tal and Hunter are headed back today from PA!! YEAH!!! I am so happy they are coming home. We are headed to bring in the new year at church. Sounds like we are going to be having a good time.

What a great Christmas!! We celebrated Christmas Eve with my parents, Aunt Diane, Uncle Roy, Tristen, and Aubrie. Had a great evening!! We got up Christmas morning had Christmas with just us and then later that afternoon we went back to my parents house and spent a few hours there. My sister and the "grand" Tanyon made it in on Friday evening. YEAH!! We then did a family Christmas with her and little man. It is so good to have them home. Tal and Hunter left on Saturday to go to their dad's. They will be back on Wednesday. YEAH!! Shawn and Amber are coming home today from a long vacation to Michigan. Hopefully they leave all the snow up there!!! Our missionaries/friends Vromans came in town. Dad had Darren preach last night. Great job!! Dad also preached about leaving the land of promise. When you leave the land of promise you land in a place of problems. Great day and Christmas was had by all!

Dad had church last night and I must say we had a great crowd there. Dad went around and people quoted new Bible verses they are learning. Grace Spain and Alexa Ryan both quoted quite a few verses!! Great job girls!! My dad had to be encouraged!
Since there were no clubs, my niece sat in church with us. I love her so much!! Here is a picture of her wearing my glasses. She really is an absolute joy!! Thank you JT and Janie for allowing me to be a part of her life. Love ya'll!!

I can't believe that Christmas is only two days away. Time has just flown by! I have a prayer request. My friend Danielle's little girl, Alina, has surgery tomorrow. They mean a lot to me and if it was my daughter I would want my friends praying for her. Also pray for my sister and the "grand" Tanyon. They are flying in on Friday. We need good weather all the way around for them.

Hunter's Acting Debut!!

We had our annual Christmas Cantata last night. The church was packed out. The choir was ready to get this thing over with...lol. We had a great cast playing the play part. This year's cast consisted of Kevin, Heather, HUNTER, Jeremy, Tommy Ragland, Breanna, Angie, and Bud and Lou as the narrator. Everybody did a FANTASTIC job!! I do know some hands were raised for salvation. Praise God. The practice was well worth if just one soul was saved! :-) Great job done by all involved.
Dad also preached a great sermon Sunday morning. He preached on God with us. He is with us in salvation, He is with us in the storm, and He is with us in service, and He is with us in secret. I am so glad He is with me constantly. If we roll the stone back and let Him work. Great job dad!!!

Yeah it is Friday. Tal and Hunter will be out of school for the next two weeks. They are very excited. They leave next Saturday to go to Philly. I am not excited about that but they are. My sister and Grand Tanyon will be flying in next Friday!! That I am very excited about. Shawn and Amber made it to Michigan safe and sound and this morning woke up to a blizzard. Here is a picture of my niece and my good friend Shannon. I love them both dearly. I really missed seeing my nieces last night. Tal and Hunter had their winter concert at school. That was Tal's first time singing in that type of setting. She did an awesome job. My little man played the saxophone. He was nervous but did a great job as well. I was very proud of them. Due to the winter concert, I did not get to see or pick up my nieces. I have begun to look forward to Wednesdays when I get to see them and my brother and sister in law. Thanks Jt and Janie for trusting me and allowing me to pick them up and be with them. They are two great little girls.

I totally understand the comparison with Santa and Christ. I know the reason for this season is to Celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ! I also know that He is the only one that sees us when we are sleeping and knows if we have been bad or good. I also sometimes think life is serious enough. We need to lighten up and enjoy this time of year. This time of year is the "CHRISTmas" holidays. I am glad God wants us to enjoy life. I think sometimes Christians put way too much energy to down play santa and all that goes with him. Chill out. Be thankful that you made it another year and a new one coming up. Be thankful for a new beginning. Quit focusing on other people and what they may celebrate or that they allow things about "santa" go on in their lives.
I enjoy this time of year and so does my family. I am excited as this is my nephews first Christmas!! YEAH!! Thank you Lord for sending us a great gift as Tanyon.

Knitted friends!!! That is what these pictures show. We went to dinner last night at El Paso for Amber's birthday. We were; however, missing a couple people (Janie and Danielle). We had a good time. We celebrated Amber's birthday a couple days early, because, she is going to Michigan. We didn't want to miss it. Life just goes by so quick. My friend Jan's daughter is getting married on Saturday. Kasey was in my first wedding, and now my daughter is in her wedding. Talk about circle of life. I just cannot believe little Kasey Morgan getting married. I am so happy for her. Sad for her mom and sister tho. She is a beautiful, kind, and thoughtful young lady. Good job Jan and Mike!!! Love ya'll bunches!!!

Dad did another great job last night at church. He preached about God's inspired Word of God. God breathed it and there it was. He also challenged us to get a bible verse and claim it. I claimed, earlier this year, Hebrews 4:16. Since my dad/preacher has challenged us to claim a new verse this is mine:
Romans 8:16 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered
I am so thankful that he makes intercession for us and helps with our infirmities.

Good Tuesday morning to you!!! We are only 23 days away from CHRISTMAS and only 24 days until my sister and nephew return for a visit!! God really worked things out for her to come back. We will, of course, miss Chris and the boys.
I am so thankful that God has sent good "guy" friends to my husband. They were like little boys planning a sleepover last night. They are planning on getting together on Sunday and watching the Cowboys beat the Steelers. SHHH don't tell Shawn I said that...lol. My husband is really looking forward to getting together with the guys.

What a GREAT Thanksgiving!!

Wow what a great four day weekend it was!! Thanks mom for a great Thanksgiving!! The men hung out outside while we (the women) hung out inside. Then the football came on, so, the men took over the living room, and the women took over mom's bedroom. We crashed in mom's bed!! I love my parent's home!! The children played outside for quite awhile and then came in and hung out in the playroom. I didn't take any pictures with my camera but did get one of dad riding Zachary on the four wheeler. All in all it was a great day!!! Friday morning I met up with Amber, Amy, and Amy's mom and did a little bit of shopping. A great time was had by all! Looking forward to next year. Saturday we went to my brother and sister in law's home for another Thanksgiving feast. Janie did all the cooking. She is a phenomenal cook!! Thanks guys!!! My sister sent me this picture of Tanyon enjoying his first Thanksgiving. Tam said he had food everywhere....LOL

Well tomorrow is Thanksgiving! I have so much to be thankful for. I am thankful for God sending His only son to die for my sins, for my healthy children/family, for the miracle little man Tanyon, and my "girlfriends/sister n law" that God has brought into my life. Tuesday morning!! Only one more day in my work week and my children's school week. They are very excited about that!!! My good friends, Danielle and her family, are headed to Tennessee for Thanksgiving. Pray for their safety. I hope ya'll have a great time Danielle!! My other good friends, Rivards, are headed to my parent's house with us for Thanksgiving. Their family lives in Michigan, so they will be with us. Thanks mom for inviting them. We will greatly miss my sister and her family. Love you so much Tam!!! Can't wait to see you at Christmas time. My daughter will also be taking care of Danielle's dog, Lacey, while they are gone. She is excited about that also. My children want an inside dog. My husband told me he wanted a beagle to be kept inside to. So, I am going to start looking for one. Oh my!!!

Good Monday morning!! God is so good!! I am so blessed with a great family and great friends. Tal and I were sick with I guess the 24 hour flu/virus. My friends called and checked on us and my parents called. Love ya'll thanks!! Saturday afternoon, Tal, Hunter, and myself headed out to David's bridal to have Tal fitted for her dress for Kasey Morgan's wedding. Wow that day is really fast approaching us. We left David's Bridal and headed to the Rivard's house. Thanks Amber and Shawn for opening your home to us. I must say I am really looking forward to our next get together where I get to stay longer...LOL. I do have some pictures of the children playing and some other pictures to. I am so glad God said in Psalms 119 that we are fearfully and wonderfull made marvelous are thy works. A girl at work emailed this to me and I thought it was worth posting.

A well-known speaker
started off his seminar by:

holding up a $20.00
bill. In the room of 200, he asked,
'Who would like this
$20 bill?'

Hands started going up.

He said, 'I am going to give this

Good morning all!! I want to ask all my friends to pray for my sister in law. Her aunt passed away. She is very sad this morning. Janie, we love you and your family are in our prayers! Her step dad, Pete, is also having some health problems. When I spoke with Janie last night he was in the hospital. So, please keep him in your prayers also.
Also my dad has another funeral. A very close friend of his, Elliot's mother passed away friday morning. The funeral is today at our church at 3p. Pray that the Holy Spirit provides great comfort to Elliott and Sandy and their family.
Pretty sad posting but these people are close to my heart and I want them to know I love them and I am praying for them.

Hello one and all!! We are fastly approaching our 7th annual ladies meeting. Let me tell you the devil doesn't want this to happen. He puts up such a great fight every year, and every year God shows up mightier then ever. Please keep my cousin in your prayers as she is having major surgery next week. My dad is in the air as I type this. He went to Bro Lamb's church in San Antonio, Texas. He was greatly missed yesterday. Mr Lacks did a great job in his place. My mom and the junior choir sang last night. I do believe it is the biggest one she has had since the junior choir started. They sang a boomerang song. Pretty powerful. Great job mom!!

Hello one and all that read this blog. Hope everybody is having a great week. Dad preached another great sermon last night about God standing still and having compassion. Sometimes for us to have compassion we have to be still. Thanks to my friends that stood still Monday evening and had compassion and love for me.
Time is just flying by. We have our annual ladies meeting coming up next Friday and then there is Thanksgiving and then Christmas. My sister and her family are coming in town around Christmas. Love you sister and miss you!!!

Well it looks like we have a new president. I have been very much at peace since my dad preached Sunday morning that God gave us His Son, and the government shall rest upon HIS shoulders. Dad also reminded us that the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord and he did give the children of Israel a king after they wanted a king.They regretted wanting a king, but God gave the people what they wanted. They got what they wanted but lost what they had. I believe the majority of America got what they wanted but they are going to lose what they had. I rest in the fact that I know beyond a shadow of doubt I am on my way to heaven. I am HIS child and my children are HIS and He will take care of His own!!!

She loves to sing in church, well actually, anywhere anytime for that matter. She is absolutely the apple of my eye. I cannot believe God entrusted me enough with such a great gift!! After I retired, my wife insisted that I accompany her on
Her trips to Wal-Mart. Unfortunately, like most men, I found

Browse. Yesterday my dear wife received the
Following letter from the local Wal-Mart.

Dear Mrs. Samsel,

Over the past six months, your husband has been causing
quite a commotion in our store. We cannot tolerate this
behavior and have been forced to ban both of you from
the store. Our complaints against Mr. Samsel are listed
below and are documented by our video Surveillance cameras.

1. June 15: Took 24 boxes of condoms and randomly put
them in people's carts When they weren't looking.

2 . July 2: Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go
off at 5-minute Intervals.

3. July 7: Made a trail of tomato juice on the floor
leading to the women's Restroom.

4. July 19: Walked up to an employee and told her in an
official voice, "Code 3 in Housewares. Get on it right away."

5. August 4: Went to the Service Desk and tried to put
a bag of M&M's on Layaway.

6. August 14: Moved a "CAUTION - WET FLOOR"
sign to a carpeted area.

7. August 15: Set up a tent in the camping department
and told other shoppers he'd Invite them in if they would
bring pillows and blankets from the bedding Department.

8. August 23: When a clerk asked if they could help him he began
crying and screamed, "Why can't you people just leave me alone?"

9. September 4: Looked right into the security camera and
used it as a mirror While he picked his nose.

10. September 10: While handling guns in the hunting
department, he asked the clerk Where the antidepressants were.

11. October 3: Darted around the store suspiciously while
loudly humming the " Mission Impossible" theme.

12. October 6: In the auto department, he practiced his
"Madonna look" by using Different sizes of funnels.

13. October 18: Hid in a clothing rack and when people
browsed through, yelled "PICK ME! PICK ME!"

14. October 21: When an announcement came over the
loud speaker, he assumed a fetal Position and screamed
"OH NO! IT'S THOSE VOICES AGAIN!"

And last,
But not least ..

15. October 23: Went into a fitting room, shut the door,
waited awhile, then Yelled very loudly, "Hey! There's no
toilet paper in Here!"

Fall Cook Out!

I cannot believe that we have been in Amelia for over two years and this is the first time I have had my brother and his family out. What a loser sister/sister n law i am. Anyways, I finally had them out. I not only had them but I had the Rivards, Martins, and Morgans. Between all of us, excluding Mike and Jan, there were 16 children. We had awesome weather!! The guys pitched horse shoes while the women just sat around and chit chatted. When the sun went down, Barry started a fire. We laid blankets out and sat chairs around the fire. We made smores and had a really relaxing evening.
Thanks everybody for coming. We had a great time!! See ya'll in October and the state police guy's house!!!

What a great time we had. We had two sets of three generations that went this year. How many churches can say that. I absolutely love being with my mom like that, and this year I got to enjoy and share this meeting with my daughter. Here are a couple of pictures.

Tomorrow a few ladies at our church will head out to Dr Jeff Owens church. This will be my daughter's first one. She is looking so forward to it. I am so excited for her to bond with all of us. We will actually be having two sets of three generations going. How many churches can say that? God is so good!
I will however be missing Candy and Angie on this trip.

Seven years ago something happened in this country that we will never be able to forget; the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and United Airlines Flight 93. There was also another event that made a lasting impression in history and that was Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. He sacrificed His life so that we could have an enjoyable life. “I come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”(John 10:10). Therefore, we must take advantage of every opportunity we are given to live our lives to the fullest! Be Blessed!!!
I am so thankful for that someone is out there fighting for my freedom so I can love those little ones that God has blessed my life with. God is so good! All the time!!

First Day of School

Wow our summer has come and gone. Tal and Hunter started their first day at Amelia County Middle School. Tal is in the 7th grade and Hunter is in the 6th. They really are growing up fast. They got on the bus for the first time in their school days. They were excited. Me on the other hand was sad. Well, they made it to school just fine. I made it home before the bus dropped them off and was able to greet them home. They had a GREAT day!! Made lots of new friends.
We, as a family, are embarking on brand new territory. Kind of scary for me, but Tal and Hunter are very excited for this new experience in their life.

Anonymous....is good when doing something good for someone and don't really want that person to know it is you. Funny how when people want to make a statement and don't want to face up to it. That is such a cowards way of doing things. Step up and own up to it was you that said it. Felt strongly enough to say something then back it up with your name. We have secret sisters at our church...we remain anonymous, at least we hope we do, for six months. That is using anonymous properly.
My husband is still right about weeding the garden.
I also know the Bible story "he without sin cast the first stone". Well it seems here it comes to right and wrong. "Weeds" are wrong for our garden. My children and my parents and my friends are part of my church garden. Deuteronomy 32:35 To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.
Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Things and people get handed over to God!
God takes care of all in HIS own time!!

Weeding the Garden

I am very close to my parents/family, and I hurt when they hurt. Well the longer I am married my husband feels as hurt as I do when my family is hurting. God is doing something with our church that we know not of. My husband told me wednesday evening, while we were sitting in church, you have to weed the garden to get things to grow. he seems to be very wise at times. You know something, he is right. If you leave weeds in your garden they soon take over every good thing that was growing. Have you ever noticed "pretty" weeds. They look pretty but they are not good for your grass or garden. If we don't take of our weeds...God will. Hey when we discover weeds/battle are we going to run like a girly boy or face it with God?

Dr visits

Tal and Hunter both had physicals and shots yesterday. They both are very healthy!! Thank you Lord! Tal has a bladder infection. Glad she went. The dr told Tal she would be about 5'2" -5'5" tall and Hunter is going to be over 6'. I can't believe how big they are getting and growing up. They really are great gifts from above!!
Time is just flying by with them. WOW!!

Parents off to Idaho!!

Well my parents left yesterday to be with Tanyon and Tanyon's parents. They sure are missed. Idaho is too far away! However, it is a good place for parents to be at right now.
God seems to be doing things that we know not of. I am glad my father is a strong but very loving preacher. I really HATE to see him and my church being hurt, but my dad is a GREAT man. He handles everything that comes his way with such grace and a great deal of mercy.
Thanks dad for sticking by the stuff and never giving up. Mom thanks for being such a stronghold and constant for dad.
We have THEE best church! Thru my dad's eyes we as a congregation see God's Glory!!!

God is still Good!

Hello everyone. We have had a fun filled summer already!! Tal went camping with the teens and she also went to her first youth conference. She said she is wiped out but she had a really great time.
My sister and her family were here for a few weeks. A house full of boys is what we had. This visit seemed to be a very successful visit. Her step son Tre seemed to hit it off quite well with my cousins daughter Bethany. Two great young people I must say! The last sunday that they were here, my brother in law accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior! The following wednesday he got baptized and yes my sister took a victory lap! Way to go Tam!!
Now as far as the little "grand" Tanyon goes, well we just couldn't get enough of him. He is absolutely precious. You can't help but look at him and thank God for being in the miracle working business.
Well, I start a great new job next week and my kids are enjoying their last few weeks of summer.

Wow is all I can say. A great deal seems to be going on right now. My dad broke is jaw playing softball last thursday night. They did surgery on it Friday evening. Thank you so much for all the love and concern and prayers that have gone up for him. My sister is on her way here as I type this. My dad is at the oral surgeon's office for a follow up. My mom, Aunt Diane, Tammi, grand Tanyon, and myself will leave in the morning to head to Ohio. My grandfather has a great deal of blockage in his heart and leg. They are going to catherize his heart and if needs be go ahead and do surgery. My mom has a lot on her plate. I am so glad that her tank has a great deal of fuel! Keep my family in your prayers.

God had really blessed us at Hyles Baptist Church. He has brought back some families. One of those is Mike and Danielle Martin. Hunter and Andrew have become friends. God seems to have brought us all full circle. Danielle and I were in the teen group together and now it seems our children have found friendship within one another. How good is God?
Andrew spent day and night with us on Sunday and here are some pictures.
